How to book
Simple, straightforward
Bookings are managed through our online system. Members can check real-time availability and book directly, through our booking system. Non-members can book up to two weeks in advance, or join as a member to unlock priority access and discounted rates year-round.

Rates are fully refundable if cancelled more than 5 days prior to stay. No refund for cancellations within 4 days or early departures.
Booking Rules
- All bookings through the online system — please don’t arrive unbooked
- Once payment is received, confirmation of your booking will be emailed back within 48 hours. If you haven’t paid, your booking request will lapse.
- Non-member bookings confirmed two weeks prior, subject to availability.
- Members and their guests always receive priority.
- Full refund if cancelled 5+ days prior. No refund within 4 days or for early departures.
- School groups — contact the Booking Officer to discuss options.

Is membership worth it?
For anyone planning more than a couple of nights on the mountain each season, the maths is straightforward. Annual membership pays for itself quickly — and you get priority bookings, the ability to bring guests, and genuine ownership of something special.
What membership includes
- Priority booking access — secure your dates ahead of non-members.
- Discounted nightly rates (roughly half the non-member rate).
- Non-member bookings confirmed two weeks prior, subject to availability.
- Ability to bring non-member guests.
- A vote in club decisions and genuine co-ownership.
- Locker rental available ($37/year, subject to availability).
- A growing network of members from across the North Island.
No joining fee at present.

Overflow & backup options
Reciprocal Clubs
Slopes Lodge
Ski Racers has a reciprocal arrangement with Slopes Ski Club in National Park for overflow bookings for Ski Racers members as well as casual guests. Slopes is also a great backup if you arrive and bad weather stops you driving up the mountain.
- Slopes has a slightly different setup to our own — book directly through their website.
- Book in as a Guest, but in ‘additional information’ write that you are a Ski Racers Club member.
- If you are needing emergency accommodation i.e. arriving Friday night to find the road is closed, please call the Booking Officer Dan McGowan. If late in the evening, please text.
